The ABS Family

At American Business Systems, we've built our business on integrity and old-fashioned family values. We’ve become successful by helping others just like you build their own businesses and reach their financial goals without sacrificing their family life to the stress and time pressures of a job.

Because we think of our group of Licensees as family, we’d like to get to know you... and for you to know us. Below you’ll find key members of our staff who will help you in building your successful medical billing business.

He co-authored Wake Up & Live The Life You Love: Finding Your Life’s Passion with Dr. Wayne Dyer and Mark Victor Hansen. The principles in his newest book, How To Reprogram Yourself for Success, have been used by thousands of people worldwide to improve their relationships, break bad habits and reach their personal and financial goals.

Because of the popularity of his “Million-Dollar Mindset,” he’s been interviewed on dozens of national radio and television programs.

He and his wife, Linda, started filing electronic medical claims in 1987, working from their home, and began licensing their proprietary billing systems to others through American Business Systems, LLC in 1994.
Linda
Linda Phillips
Co-Founder
Linda is the "real" founder of American Business Systems, Inc. In 1987, while home schooling her two children, a friend who owned a durable medical equipment company asked her if she could process his medical claims. She told him she had never done medical billing, but she was sure she could figure it out. A week later, she was typing up his claims and mailing them to the insurance companies for payment.

Within two years, she and her husband had built the company to a six-figure income, still working out of their home. Then, by 1994, they had developed a turnkey marketing and training program and began to license others to do medical billing. Linda continues to work in the business, although she no longer does the actual billing. She now spends time in community projects, as well as spending time traveling with Patrick and babysitting her four grandchildren: Ezekiel, Lia, Jonas and Olivia.
